Manchester United – Lift it High CD Single

On this day in 1999, Manchester United celebrated their treble-winning season with the release of the song ‘Lift it High (All About Belief)’. The single spent a total of seven weeks in the UK Singles Chart, reaching a peak position of number 11.

The 1998–99 season was the most successful season in the history of Manchester United Football Club as they won a treble of trophies (the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League), the first side in English football to achieve such a feat.

Even after 15 years I’m still proud to have been associated with the design of this project under the art direction of David McGeachie at Agenda Media. I even got a namecheck on the inside of the CD case!
